“Yoga for Spirituality” - a means to an end
Speaker - Dr. Rajan Narayanan
Facebook LINK

When: Sunday, October 24 · 2:00pm - 4:00pm
Where: Marvin Center 405 - 800 21st Street, N.W., Washington DC

Many thousands of years back, the Hindu traditions had developed deep understanding of astronomy, human anatomy, medicine, life, the nature of spiritual existence, etc. All of this was possible only through yoga. Yoga should not be understood merely as aerobic exercises; real yoga is connecting with the Universal spirit.

Dr. Rajan Narayanan, a mentor at the “Life in Yoga” foundation, is a practitioner & active researcher of Yoga. He has studied different religions & explores the Yogic aspects in various religious practices. He will be talking about the research methodology behind these Yogic practices.

The event is free and open to all. Snacks will be provided.

This program is a part of "Speaker on Campus" initiative of Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh.

This event is co-sponsored by Multicultural Student Services Center, GWU (http://gwired.gwu.edu/mssc/).
